July 20 | I can’t believe it’s already day four of this trip to Brodhead and Oshkosh.

July 19 | Remember the sunset patrol yesterday? The sun rises just before 6 am Mountain time here in Brodhead, as do the first airplanes. No one sleeps past 6 unless they’ve expired during the night.

July 18 | What a difference a day makes. I’m here at Brodhead, having just finished a delicious spaghetti dinner by Shelly and Kevin, some of the Pietenpol clan from Texas.

July 17 | Well, the first day is almost done. The restaurant downstairs opens at 5, but the nice young desk clerk told me the bar is open all day. Did I mention that I’m back in Rawlins, Wyoming?

July 22 | Friday was catch-up-on-your-homework-the-night-before-the-final-exam day. Whew!

July 21 | Thursday was up early, breakfast, and off to the airport. The sun was shining brilliantly and the painfully blue sky. We were looking forward to the flight to Brodhead.
